Changes in the Tax Deduction of Mortgage Insurance
Great news for homeowners paying mortgage insurance, according to the latest information at the PMI newsletter ... mortgage insurance will be deductible for certain homeowners, with income levels at or below $100,000. This federal law has been updated to 2010.
Read about it here:
http://www.pmi-us.com/tax/
Be sure to ask your tax preparer about the new guidelines and rules concerning PMI and mortgage insurance deductibility. It could save you a lot of money on your Federal Tax Return for 2008, and forward to 2010.
Ask your lender how much of your monthly payment is Mortgage Insurance and take that figure to your tax preparer. Get the most deduction available to you, Congress writes the Federal Tax Laws and they are for everyone to use.

Buyers Agents for Austin Real Estate
Yesterday I took a class offered at Austin Title, the class was taught by Curtis Reddehase of Sky Realty, I would like to say Thank You to Mr Reddehase and to Austin Title for wonderful inspiration to do more blogging.
I do have another blog, I blog there daily and often it feeds over to here, but I think I will try the reverse now, blog here at Blogger and then try to post that to my active rain account. Could this be possible? I'm sure it is .. I just haven't figured it all out yet.
Lately the Yarrabee Bend, Onion Creek Floodplain buyout Phase 2 has occupied much of my time, researching, answering some questions by residents and sending out letters. For anyone who isn't aware its a planned buyout of the Onion Creek Forest area also known as Yarrabee Bend. In the past the heavy flooding has done so much damage to the area homes it was determined to remove those homes and relocate the residents then turn the area into a Park.
I believe resident will be relocated within the next 3-5 years. The initial Phase 1 was conducted from 2007-2008 where the City of Austin and FEMA joined efforts and funds to purchase 281 or so homes and relocate those residents.
If you are an affected resident and would like the help of an Independent Realtor please call myself or my partner on the project, Bonnie Broyles. We are Realtors with Keller Williams Southwest Market Center on Mopac. Both of us are experienced BUYERS AGENTS. Call us, we can help you and you will be happy you worked with us.
Gail Tassey 512-217-9482 or Bonnie Broyles 512-422-3034 or feel free to email us with questions, cares or concerns. gailnttexas@gmail.com or bonnieintx@sbcglobal.net check my website for information about Austin Real Estate, http://austincomeshome.com

What is a HockeyMom/Pit Bull?
I watched the RNC this week, I don't normally watch television conventions of any kind, but I thought I would checkout this new face on the political scene. Since I have said for eons we all need some new faces in politics, not the same old same old... Remember the saying .. to continue to do the same thing and expect different results is the definination of stupidity?
Sarah Palin hit a home run, out of the park.. She said many things the American Public wanted to hear. What stuck with me was one of the jokes .. What is the difference in a HOCKEY MOM and a PITBULL? LIPSTICK. After I picked myself up off the floor I was laughing so hard, I got to thinking about this.
Hockey Mom, Soccer Mom, Horse Show Mom, Backstage Mom, or a MAMA BEAR, we all have a common vision.. "If you get between me and my cubs and I will tear you limb from limb.. I'm here to see my cubs have all they need and deserve." You know folks, maybe that is a good thing, to have someone in Washington that is going to lookout for us like her own cubs. Not just looking out for special interest groups, or socio-economic groups but trying to oversee the whole picture, what is good for America.
Hockey Moms, Soccer Moms, Horse Show Moms, Backstage Moms and MAMA Bears RULE! RUN SARAH RUN!!
